Millennium Cross Hike

Located between Portroe and Ballina this amazing out and back hike takes in some amazing views of Lough Derg. Sitting on top of the hill are 2 crosses: The Millennium Cross, which is a steel cross erected in 2006, and an old concrete cross built in 1932 by the Eucharistic Congress that was hit by lightning in 1945.
